Executive Council, I have allowed Mr Edmund McLeod, Overseer in the Public Works Department, to retire on a pension of $580 per annum, on account of old age.

From the enclosed Paper of Particulars of Mr. McLeod's service, it will be seen that after serving for 15 years he retired on a pension in October 1880, and rejoined the service on 10th March 1891 in December, 1882, on the same salary but without free quarters which he had enjoyed before.
